Summer Bishil, an American actress, is best known for her role as Margo Hanson in the Syfy fantasy series The Magicians. The actress gained recognition because of her performance as a character in Towelhead playing Jasira Marroun an American-Lebanese teenager aged 13 who is thrown in turmoil due to the U.S. military invasion of Iraq. The film was selected by Variety as one of the 10 actors to watch. She was in 2009 when she portrayed the strong Taslima in Crossing Over. She was nominated for the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead for this film. In addition, she acted as co-lead in films such as Mooz-lum The Last Airbender Pop Star, Under the Silver Lake, and in several TV guest parts.
