Allana represented Australia at the Rugby Sevens in 2013, then consecutive knee injuries forced Allana to stay off the field for several years before making the transition back to league. Allana made her debut as a woman in the league game against Queensland for New South Wales. Allana is also a radio player on her profile, with regular appearances with the 2GB's top-rated Continuous Call Team. Allana has a full teaching certification outside of sports. Allana Ferguson is the only Australian to represent Australia in rugby sevens and the rugby league, as well as touch.
